In the half term I went to see the new amazing James Bond film Skyfall. My dad and I think that it is one of or the best James Bond films yet. One of the things that makes the film excellent is the baddy. Normally the baddys are boring and gets straight to the point however the baddy in the Skyfall is funny and he is also excellent at acting and he has always got a smile on. I would definetly  recommend this movie to anyone who likes action and comedy. Watch this trailer to get an idea of what the film is like and what it is about. Enjoy the video.

Can you believe that the Olympics and Paralympics are over? I thought that it was a amazing experience
and never wanted it to end. It really brought everyone closer together. On Blackheath there was a big screen and everyone all went there to celebrate and watch the Olympics.
I hope the Olympics comes back soon.

The dark knight rises is a continuation of the last Batman man film. One of the reasons why I really liked it,is because there is a boy and girl superhero. The superheros are called Catwoman and of course Batman. I also really liked how they made the villain look. He was called Bane and he had a mask on his face to stop it from falling apart after taking part in a terrible accident. Even though the film is not in 3D you feel like you are in the film.

Usain Bolt has yet again won another race. He is the first man to defend his one hundred and two hundred meter titles.This is a picture of Usain doing his famous pose.(Usain Bolt all the way.) He has just finished one of his races and just been to see his fans in the crowd.( Normally at the end of one of his races he takes pictures with his fans.)Usain Bolt the Jamacian athlete is twenty five years old and one of his nicknames is lightening.

On Tuesday I went to see the Olympic park. It was really beautiful and the people there were really freindly.
Inside the park you can see the Olympic stadium and hear the cheering from inside the aquatic centre.There were television cameras and people were dressed in their countrys colours. Men from the army were there and they even let us take pictures of us and them with their hats on! The park was really impressive and I couldn't believe that before the land was a waste ground.I sugest you should get tickets to go and see it because it is really impressive!

On Wednesday I went to see the amazing Spiderman. The film was really good and I thought they were better than the original films because they were sad and funny and they also had action. I would recommend the film to people who like action comedy and sadness. Watch this trailer to get an idea of the film.

My sister the vampire is the worst book I have ever read. There is two girls called Ivy and Olivia who meet each other at Olivia's new school. Nothing interesting ever happens and the book is predictable. There are not many interesting words or sentences in the story.  I wouldn't recommend this book to you or anyone else.

The Secret Garden

The Secret garden is about a girl called Mary who has come to Yorkshire from India because her parents have died of an illness that has been spreading through India. Marys mum never spent any time with her so Mary spent all her time with her nanny. Marys father was allways working and he also spent no time with her. In India Mary spent all her time ill and in bed but as soon as the serious illness broke out and her parents and her nanny died she was sent to live in Yorkshire with her Uncle who she had  never met before.

In Yorkshire she met a maid called Martha who at first she hated but soon became fond of her. Once Mary got used to Martha she spent a lot of time with Marthas brother Dickon. Dickon was a kind and gentle boy who could talk to animals and animals loved him.One night  Mary heard some crying and asked Martha what it was Martha was lying to Mary because she said it was nothing but Mary knew she was hiding something. So one night she goes into the room where she hears the crying and finds out that her Uncle has a son called Colin. At first he is a spoilt brat but Mary soon becomes freinds with him.

My faviroute part of the story is where Colin and Mary have a massive fight.

I have read all of these books by David Walliams and thought they were very funny and sad . They all had a good plot in the stories and brilliant lively pictures. I would highly recommend these books to anyone nine years old or over. I would also give these books ninety out of one hundred. I hope you read them and have as much fun as I did reading them!

The book I am reading at the moment is  swallows and amazons by Arthur Ransome.It is about four children on their summer holidays and they sail out on their little boat Swallow to an Island in the middle of the lake. But they soon get attacked by pirates. It is a good book which I would recommend to you.
